Will my xbox 360 wireless adapter work with the new wireless 'n' router i am getting?

I'm upgrading to 50mb Virgin broadband and get a new modem and wireless 'N' router is the wireless adapter compatible with Xbox 360's this? Has anyone had this set up and working?
You went to the PS3?? Why, oh why!?

The router supports Virgin "A", "B", "G" and "N" broadband. Your wireless adapter offers "A", "B" and "G" broadband, yes, it will work.

Should I buy a "new" xbox 360 wireless adapter on ebay? Are they legit?

I am trying to find a good deal on a xbox 360 wireless adapter. I am looking at ebay and I am trying to figure out if the sellers are really selling a "new" item or a used item.

My question is, should I trust ebay in buying a BRAND NEW xbox 360 wireless adapter?

as always with ebay, things are usually fine but you should proceed with caution. make sure they have pictures of the actual item and a high seller rating. other than that, you should be fine. i bought my wireless adapter from a second hand store in town for $60 (half of the retail price) so that is an option as well.

Driven to drool: The best upcoming racing games

Series, this Microsoft-published racing simulation aims, as always, for realism and includes the virtual likenesses of some of the world’s most coveted cars. We’re talking Ferrari Testa Rossa and Ferrari Enzo; Lamborghini Reventon; Aston Martin Vantage; Jaguar XFR; Mosler MT900S and Mercedes Benz SLS AMG.

New to the series is Kinect compatibility in which the Xbox 360’s add-on, motion capture camera is used optionally in “Autovista” mode. With it, you sit comfortably on the couch and “air drive” with your hands grabbing an imaginary steering wheel to control the car.

This Kinect mode will also track your head movement so you can look around or into a turn independently from where you’re actually steering the car. Fairly cool, save for the fact that you still have to keep your eyes fixed on the TV screen, which is somewhat contrary to the point.

You can also walk around any given car, ogle its lines, open the doors, and literally kick the tires, a feature all the more appreciable when you consider all the aforementioned supercars in the house.

Wireless adapter fail. Xbox 360 Discussions, Xbox 360 Forums ...

So I finally got around to picking up a wireless adapter to get my **** back on Live. But just my luck (I had a feeling something this would happen) the adapter can't find my network.

Before throwing out random suggestions, here's what I HAVE done:

1. Turn the router on/off

2. Turn Xbox on/off

3. Manually put in my SSID

4. Refreshed the scan page over 9000 times

5. Unplug/plug adapter

6. Raged and threw a tantrum.

None of these methods have worked. And I know for CERTAIN that I'm in range because a) I'm picking up networks from my neighbours (all locked unfortunately) and b) I have my girlfriend's iPhone and my laptop right next to me in the same room as my Xbox connected to my wireless network.

So tell me, My360....what the ****?!?! How did I know this was going to happen...me and technology love pissing each other off.

EDIT: Just to save time and hassle, please don't reply unless you've got legit advice. Don't bother saying "Call Microsoft lol" or trailing on about something irrelevant...really not in the mood and I would love to get this fixed ASAP. Dude, that is ****ed up.... trying to think technically I cannot see why that would happen. The only thing I can think of is that your router is sending a signal out of the range of the adapter... But that seems pretty far-fetched.

Edit: I just had a vague thought. I think some routers let you 'hide' your signal from devices except ones you specify, maybe thats the problem? Range is 100% out of the question. My Xbox is currently right NEXT to my wireless router...and the damn adapter STILL can't detect the network. That damn red light is still there.

What I don't understand...is how it can detect other networks but not mine? Right now, I'm doing the scan and nothing's coming up. So I don't know if its a hardware fault or not because every other device seems to connect to my network with no problem at all. i use to...
