wireless usb?

I need a wireless USB port, one port, not one with 4. I need so I can plug a USB device and get a plug in my computer to the USB device is now wireless. i cannot find them, anyone know where I can get one?

If I understand the concept you're talking about (end-to-end Wireless USB), you want to take a device that is not wireless, but it must be like for example a webcam and you want to connect wirelessly to the top a wireless USB hub ... This is not a big deal, you can buy the antenna wireless USB dongles that look like thumb drives from D-Link and Linsys ... but now you need to power a wireless device and transmit a signal.

I hope you understand where I'm coming..

I heard there was end to end wireless kits here and there, but I also heard they run in the range of $ 100USD and very little support would probably be a single device because you need a separate power supply. Why waste the power of a single device when they can always make it a hub?

Hope this helps ...

Wireless USB????!!!?!?!?!?

I thought of this idea and was wondering if it's real and what there called. I want something that i plug into my computer and then i have a wireless little thing that i can plug all my usb devices into such as a webcam or something and it will be wireless. Is this real? If so, what's it called??

Wireless USB exists, but while the specification has been released, I haven't seen any products for it released. Should be devices appearing within the next few years though, probably at the same time as USB 3.0 comes out.

Edit: Although on section 6 of this link, http://www.everythingusb.com/wireless-us b.html devices should already be out.

Overdrive Pro 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot by Sierra Wireless (Sprint)

Sprint is the only mobile carrier to offer unlimited wireless data. That makes the Overdrive Pro 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot by Sierra Wireless an especially tempting proposition, because you can get access to unlimited 4G (WiMAX) data for as little as $44.99 per month. While WiMAX is no match for Verizon's blazing fast 4G LTE network, the Overdrive Pro manages to deliver some solid speeds. That, along with its great LCD, tons of router options, and good battery life, make it our latest Editors' Choice for mobile hotspots on Sprint.

Physical Features, Setup and Administration
The Overdrive Pro is a sleek, squarish black brick. At 2.7 by 2.7 by 0.7 inches (HWD) and 3.4 ounces, it's a bit bulkier than its competitor, the Novatel Wireless MiFi 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot 4082 ($79.99, 4 stars), but still very portable. The device has a Power button, Mute switch, microUSB port for charging, microSD card slot, and two external antenna ports that allow you to plug it into an optional desktop cradle ($59.99, 3.5 stars), which will charge the device and boost its signal. If you stick a microSD card in the Overdrive Pro's slot, it becomes a shared drive for connected PCs and Macs, which can be rather useful and worked well in my tests.
