Would a netgear wireless usb adapter work with xbox live?

I have a wireless adapter and a Netgear USB adapter Official xbox network. Could I somehow have Xbox LIVE so doing, put the adapter into the Xbox and Xbox Netgear USB port of computers.

No, it would not work.

BUT, here's what you can do.

to connect a laptop (or any computer with an Internet connection) and connect your 360 for this laptop with the supplied Ethernet cable in the box.

Once you've done that, go into connection settings, and go into the properties of your Internet connection. the Advanced tab, there should be a small box that you must click on that will say "allow other network devices connected to this computer to access the Internet" ... or something like that, you know when you'll see.

Once you've done this, turn on your 360 and you should have direct access.

could i use my Netgear wireless usb adapter for this?

could i use my netgear wireless usb adapter instead of the microsoft one for the 360 i.e can i connect to live off my xbox with a netgear adapter instead of the microsoft one.

Hybrid Routers Review: Get Wi-Fi and Powerline Networks in One Device

For some time, PCWorld has advocated hybrid networks that support both Wi-Fi (for laptops, cell phones, and anything else you might want to use untethered to a power source) and a wired technology for streaming media to fixed-location devices. Ethernet is the best wired-network technology, but using it typically involves stringing cables through walls; if that isn't feasible, a HomePlug AV powerline network , which uses existing electrical circuits, can be a great alternative.

Previously, in setting up a hybrid network, you could operate a Wi-Fi router in another room only by purchasing a separate HomePlug AV adapter and plugging the powerline device into an ethernet port on the router as well as into a free wall outlet (a precious commodity in the wired world). Now, however, you have other options: New routers from D-Link and Netgear deliver both Wi-Fi and HomePlug AV network technologies in a single product that costs about $90 at this writing--less than you'd pay for equivalent gear purchased separately.

Netgear Digital Entertainer Live Wireless USB Adapter for EVA2000 ...

I would like to also second the fact that the NETGEAR WN111v2 will work without any issue with the EVA2000. I've had my EVA2000 for sometime now and it was recognizing the WN111 with the early software, so it is not just some quick FW fix that has not really been tried and true that suddenly makes it works. In fact I'm using an early version of the WN111 with mine, not even a version 2. DigitalEntertainer™ is a trademark of NETGEAR®. MyDigitalEntertainer.com is not affiliated with NETGEAR.
