What exactly does a wireless N USB adapter do?
I am certainly not the most beautiful bulb with computers by any means. Could someone please explain to me in an easy to understand terms, what exactly is a wireless USB adapter is and what it does. Thank you very much!
It is not quite simple to make, but I'll try to keep it as simple as possible.
When you connect this adapter in, it will let you use the computer to the Internet wirelessly. It will only work if you have a wireless router to the Internet you can connect. Think of it as a walkie-talkie, you need both sides for it to be useful, the adapter and the router.
N simply means it is one that is particularly fast. G is slower and N + is faster.
The router essentially takes on the internet the modem and allows you to cut more than one computer, sometimes wireless.

Most PCs can not do it without the adapter, but laptops are more recent.
