How do I connect my Belkin N Wireless USB Adapter?

I try to get better reception on my Wi Fi PlayStation3 and I do not know how to get my Belkin N Wireless USB Adapter to work on it. Please can someone give me step by step how to install and operate? PS

The answer is no, normal hardware will not work on a PS3 because it is not a computer. Try moving the router closer to your PS3, or vice versa, if this work does not use an ethernet lead.

My Belkin wireless usb network adapter keeps on disconnecting from the Belkin router in a few hours. Why?

The Belkin g plus mimo wireless network adapter starts to disconnect from the internet in a few hours. This has been happening twice a week. The only way to got back to internet is to restart the host computer which has the router/modem. After restarting the modem/router I get connected but it disconnects again in few hours or maybe 2 days later. How do I solve this problem to stop the belkin usb adapter from disconnected from the router/modem in the host computer. The belkin adapter is in a client computer which I use. Can anyone tell me how to stop this from happening?

When it stops working can you have a friend bring over a laptop to see if it's really your router? Then you know it's definately not your computer.

Some things that could cause this include interference from cordless phones, microwaves, wireless video senders, and other 2.4ghz wireless things. If you have any of these unplug them and remove batteries (in the case of cordless phones unplug the battery pack from the handset and unplug the base from the wall).

Also, make sure the router is up as high as you can get it, and away from electrical things and metal.

I had one Belkin router (out of 3 I own) that would completely dissapear (not even listed as a choice to connect to) every couple days and after talking to Belkin support they determined my hardware had failed - and shipped me a replacment for free under warranty! I was supprised because it was a couple years old but whatever...

I'd say if you've tried to eliminate all sources of interference and can't connect even 10 feet or so away when it acts up, call Belkin and tell them what you've done, what it's doing, and most importantly that unplugging it (reboot) is only a temporary fix.

Ahoy, business traveller, iPad calling!

Don’t listen to what the naysayers tell you. The Apple iPad is “open for business”. Especially business on the move. In fact, the Apple iPad is one intense bundle of mobile computing and can often serve as a better travel mate for those shorter business trips than its chunkier sibling, the laptop. You only need to know how to make it work for you.

What makes it a better travel mate?

Tipping the scales at 600-odd grams, it is lightweight, super slim and easy to carry. And unarguably powerful, with—most importantly—a veritable plethora of software to harness that power. Browsing, reading, presenting, creating, note taking, editing, annotating, information gathering, digital personal assistance, videoconferencing, etc., are all possible on the little slate, using the 65,000-plus bank of tablet-optimized apps.

New travel mate: Even airport security will be less fussy. Bloomberg

You can’t ignore the fact that there are very few laptops out there even today that can match up to the iPad’s 10-hour battery life. Doesn’t that make it an efficient tool for the mobile professional—ideal for one- to two-day trips?
