I could use my netgear wireless USB adapter instead of the Microsoft for the 360 can not say I connect to my xbox live with a Netgear adapter instead of the Microsoft.

i got a wireless netgear usb adapter and a official xbox network adapter. could i somehow get xbox live doing this, putting the xbox adapter in the xbox and the netgear in the computers usb port.

no, that would not work.
BUT, here's what you can do.
plug that into a laptop (or any computer with an internet connection), and connect your 360 to that laptop with the ethernet cable that came in the box.
once you've done that, go to the connection settings, and go to the properties for your internet connection. in the advanced tab, there should be a little box that you need to click on that will say "allow other network devices connected to this computer to access the internet"...or something like that, you'll know when you see it.
once you've done that, turn your 360 on, and you should have Live access.
