How do I get my desktop to recognize my HP wireless printer?

I have a desktop that I use a map to the Verizon Internet service. I bought a wireless HP printer today. Is it possible that I can get my computer to recognize this printer?

Verizon "Wireless Internet" is not the same type of "wireless" as the printer uses

Verizon is essentially a mobile data in a map
the printer uses WiFi (wireless local network)

To use the printer you will need a wireless router, or you need to plug a cable into the printer.

Can i use an Hp wireless printer with a dell laptop with bluetooth?

I have a wireless Hp printer. I was wondering that if i got a bluetooth enabled dell laptop would i be able to use it with the Hp printer? or would i need to get a wireless dell printer?

no, you can't set it up like that. you need to set it up in the network if you have internet or with wires. the printer doesn' t have bluetooth.

That printer doesn’t natively support AirPrint, the feature introduced in iOS 4.2 that lets you print wirelessly to a small number of HP printers. If you want to print just photos from your iPad, try Canon’s free Easy-PhotoPrint app. We haven’t used the printer or the app, so we can’t vouch for them, but hey, the app’s free. Give it a shot.

If you want to use the printer for more than photos – to print documents, for example – try Netputing’s AirPrint Activator (donation requested; www.netputing.com/airprintactivator ). Install it on a Mac running OS X 10.6.5 and iTunes 10.1 or later, reinstall your printer and enable sharing for that printer and you’ll be able to print from your iPad to your printer.

Ecamm Network’s US$10 Printopia ( www.ecamm.com/mac/printopia ) is another alternative that will also do the job. As Dan Frakes states in his review of this utility: “It doesn’t matter how a printer is connected to your Mac – if your Mac can print to it, your iOS device can print via Printopia.”

This week, HP unveiled their new line of four wireless “Magic Frame” printers for the consumer market in Asia. In tandem with this, they’ve also released an iPhone application that allows you to directly print photos from your iPhone or iPod touch. Neat right? Well, the app was released in December of 2008 so it really has been a while! This is the perfect app (perfect as it is the ONLY app that will work in tandem with an HP wireless printer) for printing photos from your iPhone / iPod touch via WiFi.
