How can I make a wired usb keyboard a wireless keyboard?
Nov 30, 2007 by David S | Posted in Add-ons
I just got a new wired USB keyboard last week, but I want it to be wireless. While I was looking for some kind of extension USB but wireless. Can someone help me out?
And please be specific if you can, I am not very familiar with things like Bluetooth, infrared or WiFi. Also, it would be nice if someone knew something specific that I can buy. I just found this usb thing that looks like its what I wanted. If you can not help me find the wireless adapter, can you at least tell me if this could work, or there is something else?

The link you provided to access the wireless network. There are wireless USB hubs, but for the price of them ($ 130-200 more), you can just get a keyboard / mouse wireless. If you're dead set on the wireless hub, some links are below.

The Bluetooth Laser Virtual Keyboard from ThinkGeek : This "keyboard" is actually a monolithic canister that sits on your desk and projects a glowing simulation of a keyboard onto any flat surface. The projector also includes sensors that read where and how your fingers break into the laser field while you type, thus creating the keystrokes needed to compose words. First, the good news--it works. I was able to start my essay with this device without the potential nightmare of my index finger reaching for "a" and instead typing "mmmm" and a silent "q."
Its major drawback is the same hang-up I have with the iPad's built-in keyboard. I need the click. Also, I spent so much time looking at where my fingers were going in the laser field that it broke my concentration. Finally, its two-hour battery life per charge meant I risked running out of juice before I finished dazzling the online world with my wisdom. In the end, this is a cool product that would be fun to show off, but I needed something more "material."
UBoard USB Multi-Board Keyboard/Monitor Stand Review — The Gadgeteer
by Jackie Cheng
Like most Gadgeteers, I have multiple laptops, monitors, and assorted tech cluttered on my desk. I’ve always searched for many different ways of organizing my desk space. That’s where the U-Board USB Multi-Board from Pyramid Distribution comes in. I’ve always wanted a small second shelf, like a mini-hutch, for my glass desk. The problem is that many places that sells them are made of wood, which doesn’t really match well with the glass desk. Luckily the U-Board is made of tempered glass too.
