Can you Use Usb Bluetooth 2.0 and Talk to the PS3?
I was wondering im looking at buying USB 2.0 so I can try and peak Bluetooth signals, I live in an apartment complex and I failed to use Bluetooth 2.0 to see if I can resume neighbors cell phone. I was curious but if I buy a USB 2.0 PC will it work kinda well 360 and let me see the files on the computer?
I read Bluetooth 2.0 has a range of 66 feet or more, depending on the brand. Any one know what brand or model is the best I need one with the longest line I have a USB cord 15'ft I was put through my window.I guess it's still picking up the habit nieghbors cell phones or Bluetooth printer or PDA.
Theoretically yes, you may be able to pick up (no access) to other devices that are within reach. I doubt you will see other devices in the apartments because BT is supposed to be short range, no long range as WiFi.

No, because you can not access a device unless it is linked. You can not pair devices, unless you have both a kind of action. So, simply select a system in place somewhere, and reading of files and crap out of it is a fantasy. Things do not work like that.
Furthermore, no unless you can find a program for the PS3 that can do.Simply plugging in a USB dongle BT will lead you nowhere. It provides that the current method of communication. You need a program that uses the dongle to communicate with external devices.
Not if there are no device drivers available for the PS3. The PS3 is not a Windows computer, then use the CD that came with the BT dongle will lead you nowhere. To my knowledge, there is not something similar for the PS3, because there is no point.
Finally, a giant NO because the PS3 already has a Bluetooth transceiver built in. The controllers operate using Bluetooth ...So what's the point of adding another Bluetooth transceiver when you've already had one?
Long story short: You're wasting your time even thinking, let alone actually try.
