PS3: Does anyone use Bluetooth Plantronics 510 headset online?

This is not the BT version 2.0, but got good reviews. I am curious to its performance and you pair everytime u play? I have COD4, I do not buy the jabra 125 and cjheap seems uncomfortable and got bad reviews in the extent and quality perfrmance. What do u BT? THX a bunch.

Sorry but I have never used this particular helmet. Consumer preferences are generally useful.
I got a Logitech one for less than 20 on Newegg, it's not like amazing or anything but I've worn for very long without being uncomfortable (3 hoursish.) It was fairly easy to configure . If you are looking for the best cheap as you find the Logitech is almost perfect. and the colors correspond to the PS3 perfectly. Good luck and if you are looking for a place to buy one Newegg is about the only place I buy electronics.

Is the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headset good for PS3?

I want a good wireless head set for playing online on my PS3. Any other suggestions?

Plantronics Savor M1100 Bluetooth Headset Packs Impressive Tech Punch, Could ...

The Good:

The Savor M1100 is stuffed with all the tech features expect of a top-of-the-line Bluetooth headset, and especially good value at $80: A2DP for music-streaming, multipoint for hot-swapping between two different devices, noise-cancelling technology and most notably a voice command feature — very similar to that of the BlueAnt Q2 we reviewed a few weeks back — that not only speaks status information to the user (connection status, battery power, etc.) but also accepts commands spoken by ther user to check these factors, for example, or to answer or decline an incoming call. And similar to the Q2, the Savor also comes with a service (free for a year, $25/year thereafter) that lets you do things like listen to news, sports and weather updates, send voice notes to Evernote and listen to tweets, Facebook updates and emails. It’ll also allow you to send updates, tweets and emails, but in the form of links to voice recordings; if you want voice transcription for outgoing stuff it’ll require and upgrade to Vocalyst Pro ($35 the first year, $60/year thereafter).

Windsmart Technology allows you to seamlessly switch between two Bluetooth® devices Noise-canceling microphone for superior sound quality Up to 6 hours talk time and up to 100 hours standby time One-touch call answer/end, last number redial and voice activated dialing Compatible with Bluetooth devices supporting the headset or hands-free profile I read all these reviews for this earpiece and had great hopes for it. the LG I tried a couple of years ago had really poor sound quality and was very uncomfortable, so I've stayed away from bluetooth headsets. When I read the reviews on the 510 I thought this has got to be better. Well while the headset is very comfortable, the sound is very muffled. I'm returning mine. If you decide to order one I hope you have better luck. I purchased this item after breaking my 520 headset ( my fault for having it in a place it should not have been ). I wanted to try a different one, I was satisfied with voyager 520, but the wind noise on headset was to noisy according to people I called and talk with, while walking or driving. Voyager 510 fits a little better with choice of ear piece. Wind noises in my opinion is a lot better. The only thing I don't to much care about is the earlobe piece... a little cumbersome fitting on. I just threw my second one in the trash. The first one lasted a little over a year and had me singing high praise. The 510 met all 3 of the major criteria for a BT earpiece: sounded good to me and the people I talked to, it was super comfortable even on the longest of days, and it was loud enough. Simple list of important features right? Then why is it so hard to find a decent BT earpiece?! Anyhow- after a year the battery wouldn't hold a charge on the first on I got. The second one lasted about 3 months and then everybody said I sounded "really far away". Trying a Motorola H695 now. So far it is just ok- they filter out the low end frequencies so I sound thin on the other end and the voice in my ear sounds a bit thin too. Tolerable though, a couple days in.
