Bluetooth Headset?

Ok. I'm quite a beginner when it comes to all this bluetooth stuff, but I need a headset for my phone. If I could go to Wal-Mart and get one of the oldest wire, I would, but my phone is only set up for Bluetooth. This is a LG 8300. Will I need a special headset for my phone, or are they all compatible with all brands of phones? Also, I drive a little (30 minutes one way to work) and need something that will be strong enough compared to the noise around me. What do you recommend?

I think you can buy any headset to your phone. You may also be able to buy a wired one as long as you have an adapter. I would check with your telephone company. They should be able to help you understand it thoroughly.

How can I connect my bluetooth headset to my wireless laptop?

My bluetooth is built in and the bluetooth headset is a Motorola HS850. My laptop is a Dell Inspirion 1520. I know how to put the headset into pairing mode, but I don't know how to put the laptop in "search mode". Please tell me how to put my Dell Inspirion 1520 running on Windows XP in Search Mode for my Bluetooth headset (Motorola HS850). Thanks!

there should be some kind of bluetooth program you can open and search for a device. If not you may have to download one but most manufactured pcs will come with the programs you need for the features. Check in your start menu/programs

Remember the Looxcie ? It was a $199 wearable camcorder/Bluetooth headset that launched last September that used your iPhone or Android smartphone as a viewfinder. It continuously recorded video at a resolution of 320p at 15 frames per second, and if something exciting happened, you pressed a button and it clipped the last 30 seconds and sent it off to Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube.

It was a cool idea done in by an awkward design, a disappointing user experience, and mediocre video results. It appears that the folks at Looxcie learned from the first go-round, though, as the Looxcie 2--at least going by this photo and the new specs--looks greatly improved.

It now records in 320p or 480p at 30fps, so videos should be much smoother. The Looxcie 2 actually resembles a small, modern Bluetooth headset--at least as much as one can and still have a video camera, 4GB ($179; up to 5 hours of video) or 8GB ($199; up to 10 hours of video) of storage, and a rechargeable battery for up to 4 hours of continuous video recording.
