Bluetooth headset understands voice commands
Berlin (dpa) - The latest Bluetooth headset from Jabra can be used to control mobile phones via voice commands. The company's Stone 2, for example, can initiate or pause phone calls based on a spoken command. When the user receives an incoming call, the caller's name is announced, provided he or she is listed in the phone's address book. The Stone 2 also has a multi-use function for connecting to two phones at the same time. The headset comes with a mobile charging station and sells for 99 dollars.
Teen karaoke mobile phone
Berlin (dpa) - There's are new GSM mobile phones from Sony Ericsson for karaoke fans and frequent texters: The Mix Walkman can display the lyrics of a song at the push of a button. If the lyrics were previously uploaded to the phone from the PC, they are displayed on screen. There is also a special button for jumping ahead to the refrain. Another new model, the Txt Pro, comes with an extendable QWERTZ keyboard. Both phones feature a three-inch display, a camera (3.2 megapixels), Bluetooth, and WLAN. The entry-class phones are expected to hit the stores in Q3 and retail for around 119 dollars each. The Mix Walkman ships in black with a pink or green frame, while the Txt Pro comes in black, white, or pink.
